Fingerpaints??

Yesterday, Zion and I decided to indulge ourselves in a bit of finger painting.  I hope you enjoy :) I'm sorry to say, that my brain is not willing to co-operate in writing. So I am sorry this is short and not passionate, but to me, Zion is a great passion.

fresh veg, hot water, and a cigarette (yes, sorry)????

Soooo yeah I guess it's been about 1 month since I last posted anything and also took pictures. Iya!  It's been a crazy couple of months of moving and traveling and to think, it's just starting to finally settle down.
We started the journey packing up and heading down to San Diego, which for the first time, took 2 days. It was great getting there and seeing all of the wonderful family we have and it was even better that the boys remembered everyone. After we stuffed our faces with Rubios and In n Out, Ev and I headed to Vegas for our first vacation without the boys. We had heaps of fun enjoying the late nights and not having to get up till we want too. I think we honestly didn't know what to do with ourselves for the first half of the first day.  When we got back, I headed for my very own adventure. It was nice to go exploring again and meet new wonderful people and have memorable stories. Now we are here in Avondale, Az, and we are completely out of our element.
It's been really hard, honestly, and there have been a couple of times where Ev and I have wanted to go Ninja on eachother's ass (sorry) but in the end we are learning that we need to be a team and work together. Such a huge learning experience. One thing that I have been learning is we take so many things for granted in life. Today was the first day in about a week that we have been able to relax, eat fresh veggies and fruit, and take a hot shower. I don't remember the last time things were a luxury and I'm grateful for these times. Guess there wasn't much that was profound in this blog but it is what is. :)

This was the first time in 1 month? that I took out my baby and took some photos with her, it's a bit rusty, but oh how wonderful it was to move in art.
 May this find you well.

The shoot?

Hey Everyone,

Yesterday I ended up doing a photoshoot with a model I have recently met, Alicia Vuittonet. She was awesome and very easy to work with. I hope you enjoy these.

A new step?

Hey Everyone,

As you can see, I recently have printed out some of the photos from this site. WooHoo!  This was for an art exhibit in Tallahassee, FL, and the exhibit was called  "Dog Days".  I have decided to start selling prints!  I will start pricing at $25 + shipping for an 8x10. If anyone is interested, just shoot me an email and let me know the photo(s), the size, and if you would like this matted or just a photo (so you can frame it instead) and I will get back to you and work with you on the details.  Thanks you for all your support, even in just checking out the blog. Hope this find you well.

To be inspired?

To feel, to be moved, to be inspired, to be raw and to express, these are my desires. To get out of ruts and feeling stuck and to push past the walls, I feel, that are holding my me. I want to go deeper and to be able to unleash creativity.

Sorry that was on my mind and I felt the need to get it out of my system. It seems that during the past few months I have been stuck in this up and down rut and focused on moving forward rather enjoying what I have in front of me. I noticed that when I worry about the future, my present diminishes and I don't take full advantage of what is in front of me (even if it means enjoy sitting with my boys and nothing more than playing with them). When did life get so complacent and why are we so focused on what we want to be rather than enjoy the little things.   A couple of nights ago, I let Zion stay up with me til about 11 and I can say it was so much fun seeing him at work and spending time with him. He is becoming a very intricate human, no I promise he was human beforehand, he's just becoming more aware of his surroundings lately and I love it.  I decided to be an artist person that night and played with painting with acrylics for the first time. Ha, yeah I failed but it was fun to play with music and painting and just going with it. So I pop in headphones and just start painting and Zion is intently watching me. His eyes were glowing with excitement.  He leaves the room and brings out his paper and paints, and sit on the floor and starts drawing with them. The best part is he gets up off the floor and steals my mp3 player so he can be "inspired".  Cheeky monkey!

I am learning more and more to enjoy the time I have with them, but some days I do feel likes the days are passing me by. Honestly though, how am I going to enjoy the future if I don't experience my present and savor the past.  Thank you boys for inspiration..all 3 of you ;)

I hope this finds you well :)

Limits and worth??

Heya,

This week seems to be making the same point in my life, it's quite humorous, actually. This past week my life has been feeling that the time is passing by and almost like a ticking time bomb has started. Don't really what it means, I just know I am more compelled to be apart of something huge and find what I was meant to do. Doesn't mean I found it now, but something had been driving me, almost like this hole in me was showing me that it needs to be filled and it needs to be filled now. Well, still hasn't been filled but I can finally see the paths to choose from, instead of being in this stand still in the desert.   A while back I used to feel important and that I had worth, even if the worth wasn't from people I still felt semi-secure. That has slowly faded in time and I started feeling like I was just another person that I wasn't special or even that I had something to give to society or even to God that I just was.  So this week I was desiring that passion again that drive to do something effective in life but I couldn't shake this feeling that something was missing or that I couldn't do anything important just cause I don't something to give..it's a dreadful feeling, I tell ya.  Today, though, I was challenged. The best part was it was by the sermon at church, ha!  Ok, honestly I haven't felt pushed or challenged by much things and this seemed to engage my soul.  So the sermon was about how we need to be the "status quo" and that God has given each one of something special and we need to use it to our full ability, that we all have a purpose and we need to push our limits and exceed.  I had someone pray with me today cause I have been feeling like I lost myself, who I am, my purpose, my passions and she started praying and the one thing she kept saying that truly stuck with me is our identity isn't in the things we do or have, it's in God who created us.  It made sense, we can put stalk in the things we do, in our families, in anything but it still doesn't give us our identities...  I don't really know, this is all stirring madly in my head I just know deep down that we are more than what we "do".

I hope you find your worth and that you can exceed any limit that is in front of you.
