Field Trip???

Hey,

This weekend my photography class went on a field trip to the Japanese Friendship Garden.  We went at 8am so the sun was giving off a light glow. It was absolutely a gorgeous place, such a peaceful environment.  It was great because my grandparents were here for a visit as well, so we all enjoyed the garden and the season's re-opening of the garden.

Star gazing??

Last night, I took out my camera and tripod and did a little dabbling with some night shots.  I found it to be very intoxicating to turn off all the lights and gaze at the stars.  I am so amazed how beautiful it was and it was only a glimpse of what is out beyond what we can see.  It's crazy to think how detailed life is, space, our bodies, emotions, the fact that life has a balance so we may just live.... wow

Organic Alphabet??

Hey Everyone,


     I have been taking some classes at the Phoenix Center for the Arts, as you guessed, in Phoenix. I have started beginners piano and digital photography 101. Both classes have been such a great opportunities to meet new people, to learn the thing I've always wanted to, and to stretch my mind.

  Last week in photography, we had an assignment that was meant to open our minds to the world around us. We were to take pictures of the 26 letters in the alphabet in organic form. It was a great adventure and taught me a lot about how the alphabet is everywhere :)
